There are many different transfer pathways for students.  In addition to regular course to course transfer, the following options offer transfer credit in different ways:

    Course Search: This is where you can view how individual courses transfer.

    Block Transfer Guide: Block Transfer is when a certificate, diploma or associate degree is recognized as a whole for transfer credit.

    Degree Partnerships: Several institutions offer dual degree programs allowing you to complete a joint degree or more than one institution.

    High School Transfer: There are several enriched high school curriculums that offer advanced credit at the post-secondary level. The BC Transfer Guide contains information on the following:

    • Adult Basic Education (ABE) Transfer Guide: includes a number of programs to help adults develop basic skills, obtain a secondary school graduation diploma, and obtain vocational training.
    • Advanced Placement (AP) Transfer Guide: The Advanced Placement (AP) program provides students with the opportunity to earn advanced credit towards their undergraduate degrees.
    • International Baccalaureate (IB) Transfer Guide: The International Baccalaureate (IB) program provides students with the opportunity to earn advanced credit towards their undergraduate degrees.

    Associate Degrees:  The Associate Degree is a provincial credential offered by most institutions that allows students to receive 60 credits towards an undergraduate degree.
